This Privacy Policy describes how Nudge (“we”, “us”, “the app”) handles your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this policy carefully. By using Nudge, you agree to the terms below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to make Nudge work for you.
Account information
- Your email address and a password (used to sign you in)
- Your name (used to personalize the app)
Financial information you provide
- Your monthly income
- Budgets you set
- Financial goals (label, target amount, date)
- Transactions you log (amount, category, date, notes)
- Recurring transaction rules
- Your currency preference
We do NOT collect:
- Your bank account numbers or credentials
- Your credit or debit card numbers
- Your address, phone number, or government ID
- Your device contacts, photos, or files
- Your location
- Any behavioral, advertising, or tracking data
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide solely to operate the app for you:
- To let you sign in and access your data
- To display your budgets, goals, transactions, and insights
- To automatically log recurring transactions on the days you set
- To sync your data across your own devices when you sign in
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data to train AI models or for any purpose other than running the app for you.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored securely in a hosted database provided by Supabase, operated by Supabase Inc.
- Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
- Each user's data is isolated: our database rules prevent any user from reading another user's information
- Supabase currently hosts our data in the Southeast Asia (Singapore) region

4. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your associated data (profile, budgets, goals, transactions, recurring rules) from our database.

5. Children's Privacy
Nudge is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 8. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when this policy was most recently revised.
